A little planning before the making.

Stitch and bead grid

Choose a grid, select a palette colour and click or drag to paint. Grid resizing creates a blank pattern; Undo restores the previous grid. Palette colours can be changed, recolouring every cell that uses that palette index. Symbols 0–9, A and B identify the twelve colours. Colour counts include background cells.

For cross-stitch, the fabric count means stitches per inch. Finished width is cells divided by fabric count, excluding borders. The estimate assumes one full stitch per cell. For beadwork or mosaic work, use your actual material size separately; the fabric estimate is not a bead-dimension calculation. There is no thread-brand matching, skein-length estimate or symbol-by-symbol stitch instruction.

Photo to pattern

Choose a PNG, JPEG or WebP image under 5 MB. A local centre crop is sampled to the selected grid size, then mapped to the nearest RGB colour in the twelve-colour palette. Transparent pixels are blended against white. Edit the palette before importing if you want a different colour mapping, then paint individual cells to refine the result.

The original photo is not stored in the project, only the resulting cell indices and palette. RGB nearest-colour conversion is approximate, not a perceptual colour-matching or dithering system. Use images you own or have permission to reproduce.

Quilt layouts

Choose checkerboard, half-square-triangle or diamond layouts and set two to twelve rows/columns. The output is a colour-arrangement preview, not a cutting plan. It does not include finished block dimensions, seam allowances, fabric yardage, assembly instructions or safety guidance for cutting tools.

Paper templates

The open-tray net has a base and four side panels. Cut solid lines, fold dashed lines, and tape the corners; there are no glue tabs or lid. The envelope has a rectangular body and four pointed flaps. Flaps must be at least half the larger body dimension plus 2 mm so opposite flaps overlap.

Dimensions are millimetres. A4 or US Letter is selected for actual-size output. Nets that do not fit are rejected instead of automatically reduced. Use Print / PDF with the matching paper size, 100% / Actual size, zero added margins and browser headers/footers off. Measure the printed 50 mm ruler before making. Some printers have unprintable edges; check their preview. Start with scrap paper and allow for your material thickness yourself.

Save and export

SVG exports the selected pattern. Colour-count CSV is available for the grid. Save here explicitly keeps one project in this browser. Download Project makes a portable JSON backup containing all three tool settings and grid data. Open restores it. Backups must be under 1 MB. Browser storage can be cleared; keep backups.

Privacy and verification

No accounts, uploads, analytics, remote fonts or external libraries are used. Project data stay in the browser and downloaded files. Image conversion, pointer dragging and actual printing depend on the browser and device. Generated SVG layouts were inspected, but live browser, photo-upload and printer checks remain unverified.
